Arthur Archer And the Time Traveller's Chronicles
"Arthur is a seemingly ordinary teenager with a seemingly ordinary life until he stumbles across a strange and mysterious tree in the grounds of his new home at Rose Cottage. Unable to contain his curiosity, he investigates and ultimately changes his life and perhaps the past forever. For Arthur has discovered a time portal and finds himself thrown back through time to the year 1643 during the English Civil War. His only hope is his sister, Emily, who discovers the secret of the time portal and who must find and warn her brother that unless the two of them return home within twenty four hours then they will both be trapped in the past. But can the two of them find their way home during one of England’s most bloody and grotesque time periods? Or will Emily and Arthur have to spend the rest of their lives in a world where witch-hunts, battles, beheadings and the Black Death are commonplace?"

It uses vivid and bright, descriptive text about the civil war an also makes for a very enjoyable read, I know I couldn't put it down!, I would recommend this to people of any age. A. Higgins "I couldn't put this book down. I'm certainly not the teen audience this book is aimed at, but must admit if you love Harry Potter (and we all do) you'll love 'Arthur Archer and the Time Traveller's Chronicles' for sure. Impressive debut novel with a captivating plot that's interesting in many ways, loved the historical content pertaining to places in Oxfordshire during the English Civil War, while being at the same time richly mixed with elements of fantasy, magic, and modern life. Fascinating too, is how quickly you become involved with the characters lives and personalities, the author ties us the reader to those characters emotionally right to the end. Very clever. That leaves me waiting for this author's next book of adventure. Bravo!"
A.Blake "I have just woken up and finished this book that, every night and morning, I have been obsessed with reading. The story has brilliant and interesting characters, adventure, and a little bit of romance on the way. From the first few pages I knew I was in for a good read. This shows fantastic character development and I well and truly hope that he writes a sequel and that if he does, it will be well anticipated. Overall I think Ben Molyneux has lots of potential to be an amazing novelist."
